Besides our devotion to academics and healthcare, we are also passionate about bettering the community in which Washington University resides. As members of MAPS, we aim to better the surrounding St. Louis community through volunteer service and building relationships with members of the community.

Day With the Youth 2025
Day With the Youth 2025
The Executive Board for MAPS is excited to announce Day with the Youth 2025! We are an organization vested in ensuring equal representation in the healthcare professions. We support this goal by providing a network and support space that offers resources essential to undergraduate success.
Day of the Youth is when we like to bring local high school sophomores and juniors to campus and give them a “day in the life of a pre-medical student”, with the experience lasting two days. With an important twist, it is FREE OF COST. This includes talking and meeting current undergraduates, college application workshops, attending pre-health classes, speaking with Doctors who have been in their shoes, and other fun activities we have planned for our guests.
This year, Day with the Youth is scheduled for April 3rd and 4th. The Event will run TH: 7P.M.-10P.M and FR: 9AM-7PM. At this time we are unable to provide transportation or housing accommodations, but we encourage Car-pooling!
