The Washington Bicentennial Committee was formed by Mayor Gary Manier.
The Committee met monthly beginning September 2018.

The Washington White Papers project was started by the Washington Historical Society to gather information and write updates to the Washington history published in 1975 to celebrate Washington's Sesquicentennial.
John Stromberger headed this committee and created a Facebook page: Washington White Papers.
The Washington Historical Society has since "adopted" this project and is now Washington Rewind. Click HERE for direct access to these amazing stories of Washington's history.
