Art Parent Role and Responsibilities: 

1. Create quarterly lesson plan in conjunction w/Art Coordinators

2. Lead 1-2 lessons per month

3. Coordinate with Art Coordinators, co-art parents and classroom volunteers to create and lead lessons

4. Coordinate w/supplies lead for what you need 

Time Commitment for Art Parent:  

1. Attend Art Parent orientation 

2. Attend quarterly evening planning meetings (3-4 per year max, can be attended virtually)

3. Coordination of weekly lessons (you don't have to lead each one but you do need to know what's up and to be able to step in and help if needed or coordinate with one of the Art Coordinators to do so) 

4. Execution of weekly lessons 

Art Volunteer Role and Responsibilities: 

1. Coordinate w/Art Parent regarding the day you've signed up for to learn about lesson and role and responsibilities

2. Arrive 15 minutes before lesson is scheduled and meet in art supply room w/team for the day and go over the lesson  

3. Attend planning meeting for the timeframe you've signed up for if possible (1 hour)

4. Help execute weekly lesson you signed up for (1 hour)

Time Commitment for Volunteers: 

1. Short orientation (15-30 minutes)

2. Attend a meeting about planning whatever lesson you sign up for (apx 1 hour)

3. Execution/help with lesson (1 hour)
