Come join us at our monthly meetings to learn more about who we are and ways we strive to better support our children's recreational, educational and employment opportunities here in Wasatch County.
All meetings are held at the District Office at 101 E. 200 N, Heber City.

September 19th at 10 a.m. : Back-to-School Kick-off
November 7th at 10 a.m. : Special Guest Ben Springer and Claire Mair
December 19th at 10 a.m. : Special Guest Smokey the Bear

I CAN DO HARD THINGS 5K

Get ready for our 9TH Annual I Can Do Hard Things 5K event!

Wasatch High School
Starting at 10 a.m.

We invite you to join us in our 9th annual I Can Do Hard Thinks 5K fundraising event.
All funds will be used for the benefit of individuals with special needs. Some examples of how funds have been used in the past are: Transition College scholarships, Accessible vans
(to access the community), National Ability Center participation (skiing, cycling, rock climbing, archery, ropes course), Teacher and classroom supplies, Unified sports fees and equipment.

Related Services Wishlists

Related services at Wasatch County School District have been given the opportunity to create wishlists of needed supplies and equipment to administer in-school therapies more effectively and efficiently. PEAK has funded many of these requests.

SPED Adaptive Cycling Day

SPED students have the opportunity to participate in adaptive cycling with a coach to assist them and equipment that fits their specific needs.

Transition College
Graduation Scholarships

Students who graduate from SPED program post-high transition college have an opportunity to apply for and be awarded a scholarship to help fund endeavors for their next stage of life.

CATCH A SPECIAL THRILL

The C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation enriches the lives of children with special needs, supports their families, and strengthens communities through the sport of fishing.

HEBER CITY HOWLERS

Heber City Howlers is our unified community team of Special Olympics Utah. This adaptive recreation program is FREE to participate for all individuals 8 years old and older (no age cap). Practices are held year-round including sports like: alpine skiing, bowling, cycling, soccer, bocce, pickleball, and much more!
