Our program is designed to help youth develop horsemanship skills, confidence, responsibility, and sportsmanship while learning to safely care for and ride their horses.
We welcome riders of all experience levels — from first-time members to advanced competitors — ages 8–19.

2027 Horse Council Nominations
Interested in helping shape the future of the Wasatch County 4-H Horse Program? Horse Council nominations are now open!
Horse Council members play an important role in planning events, supporting our youth members, and helping our program continue to grow. We encourage all parents to consider serving or to nominate another parent who would be a great fit.
Nominations are open through July 27, 2026.

The nomination form includes a description of each position and its responsibilities. Voting will take place at the final horse show, with each family receiving one vote. The Youth Council will also cast one vote.
