Warriors Community Connection is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit association that prides itself on being a powerful voice for the Walters Middle School Community. Membership in the WCC is open to anyone who supports the mission and wants to get involved to make a real difference in the education, health, and welfare of students at Walters Middle School and the surrounding community.

School/PTSA/WCC Brief History
1983 Walters Junior High PTSA was established.

2004 Logan Drive changeable school sign was gifted by the PTSA of 2003-2004.

2019 Walters Junior High completed transformation into Walters Middle School with the addition of two new buildings for incoming 6th graders.
2020 Walters Junior High PTSA was updated to Walters Middle School PTSA while schools across the nation went into virtual distance learning for the 2019-2020 school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2021 A new mascot was purchased by the PTSA and named Wally by majority student votes.
2022 A new logo was launched along with spirit-wear and fun events/fundraisers on Warrior Wednesdays.
2023 In June Members voted to dissolve the PTSA and form the Warriors Community Connection a PTO to serve Walters and keep resources and funds at Walters
2024 Parents fought for equal funding for our facilities at the School Board - the Board approved funding for a new track and blacktop, Parents continue to advocate for a new gym, office, and more.
