The Silent Auction will be held in Trinity Hall - the gymnasium of St. John the Evangelist School. The auction begins Friday, October 10th at 4PM and ends Saturday, October 11th at 8PM.

In order to participate in the Silent Auction first go to the the registration table to receive a bid number
Please honor the minimum bid and the minimum bid increment
The previous bid may be increased by the minimum bid increment or more
Rebids are allowed, simply make a new bid on the next available line
Winners will be notified by 8:30 PM by text or phone call if not present at the end of the auction
Payment is due at the end of the Silent Auction
Items are expected to be taken home that evening
Verify that all "placeholder" items - pictures/boxes/copies of high end items, alcohol, gift certificates, etc. - have been replaced with the actual items
Verify that any protective wrapping and boxes, if available, have been provided
Special arrangements for items that can not be taken home must be coordinated with the silent auction coordinator at the end of the auction
All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds. All items are “as is.” No statement made in this booklet, on the website or orally, shall be deemed such a warranty, representation, or assumption of liability.
The auction item value is an estimate of fair market value. The amount paid above fair market value is normally tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Please be generous! Consult your tax adviser for advice.
Restaurant certificates may not include alcohol, tax, or gratuities. Check expiration dates and reservations may be needed.
Payment for items purchased must be made in full on Sat. 10/8. Accepted payments are cash, credit card or local check made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and include “Oktoberfest/Silent Auction” in the memo line.
Winners will be contacted by text, phone, or at the auction. Please allow 30 minutes after the silent auction closes to process winners.
The bid sheet must show payment in full to pick up auction items.
The purchaser must pick up all items the night of the auction unless special arrangements are made with the silent auction coordinator.
All gift certificates on display are fake. Obtain originals from cashiers upon check out. Check expiration dates, they vary!
Rental properties may have blackout dates. Book directly with owner and not websites on QR codes. Contact information provided at check out.
Each person bidding assumes all risks and hazards related to items obtained at the auction as well as transporting the items home.
Each bidder agrees to hold harmless from any liability arising indirectly from St. John the Evangelist, their appointed officials, members, employees, the event organizers, sponsors, and/or volunteers connected with the auction
