Help needed Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 8:20-9:00am
We are looking for people who can commit to helping each week for 45 min! Pick 1 day or 2 or 3!
Cafeteria Help
Help needed daily from 10:45am-1:30pm
You can sign up for 1 hour, 2 hours, weekly, daily... you can set the schedule!
Spirit Wear Coordinator
We are changing spirit wear companies and need a point person to choose designs, set prices, and communicate with the community about the sale!
Trunk-or-Treat Committee Member and Leader
Our first event of the school year is always a spook-tacular event. We are looking for someone to lead a committee to plan, organize, and promote Trunk-or-Treat!
You'll learn from the best, Jess has been this person for years and is ready to train the next committee leader!
Room Parent
Be the point person for your child's classroom. Communicate with other parents.
Read-a-thon Committee
Help out with our first big fundraiser! We have a committee leader, now we need people to help with promoting the event, planning prizes, and other tasks.
Craft Night Committee Members and Leader
We are planning to run some craft nights at the same time as our meetings (second Tuesday of every month). We are looking for someone to plan the craft, make a sample, and bring the supplies to each meeting (10 total).

BCPS Volunteer Training
All in school volunteers must complete the volunteer application and participate in an orientation/training session annually beginning on July 1st. All volunteer training expires on June 30th.
Step 1: Complete the BCPS Volunteer Application - Complete and save a copy to your computer or device. You will need to email this along with your training certificates to Heather O'Leary at holeary@bcps.org.
Step 2: Complete the online Volunteer Orientation AND the Health & Safety - Mitigation 2021 training.
Returning Users with an existing Safe Schools Login
If you have completed training in the past but don't remember your login information, please email swade@bcps.org for assistance in recovery.
Step 3: Send your certificates and application to Heather O'leary at holeary@bcps.org.
