How does La Sagrada Família compare to the Palace of Versailles? The Champs-Élysées in Paris to Las Ramblas in Barcelona? Barcelona and Paris both offer world-class art and culture that, experienced together, will amaze you. From iconic architecture like the Eiffel Tower and Park Güell, to savory regional cuisine like steak frites and paella, each day offers new and unforgettable experiences.
Maybe you've been to Italy, but have you immersed yourself in its cuisine and culture beyond the major cities? Go off the beaten path in Southern Italy and explore charming seaside towns. Dig in to the local flavor, whether it’s a slice of fresh focaccia, a beachside gelato tasting, or a cooking class in Rome. We’ll experience the concept of farm-to-table firsthand during visits to a buffalo mozzarella farm, a family-owned olive grove, and a small-batch chocolate factory.
From the enduring presence of the Acropolis to the piercing blue waters of the Aegean Sea, this Greek adventure will leave travelers wide-eyed with wonder. In Athens, Delphi, Epidaurus, and Cape Sounion, learn how an old belief in mythological figures still influences medicine, politics and philosophy. Taste some fresh feta cheese, try out some new dance moves, and immerse yourself in the Grecian way of life.
These trips are open to all high school students in good standing. FCPS is not the sponsor of these international educational tours (FCPS FS-151). Being independent of FCPS allows Ms. VanPelt to offer these travel opportunities to a wider variety of travelers (even graduating seniors!) and gives the group more flexibility in itineraries and dates.
Our tours foster FCPS Portrait of a Graduate skills and embrace the Madison High School mission statement: To develop creative and resilient global citizens.
