The idea would be it would be done in such way, for each mission there would be three variants - general advices, suggesting course of actions with some warnings, then a spoiler variation, giving advice where to go, what to do and when to do it, e.g. to fire on position in certain place in the mission to avoid geting hit by hidden atgm infantry (recon does not help here, due to different mechanics of hiding in urban sectors) (especialy that can turn one angry if one of goals is not to lose units) and then finaly, the cheesy one - many hard missions can be turned super easy or even boring if you exploit the AI weakness - scripts. In some missions you can easily stop or significantly lower enemy presence on battlefield by clearing reinforcement sectors (though often there will still be enemy reinforcements occasionaly poping up), or to you can get ridiculous killing list by good unit placement - and thus stopping enemy forces from that direction. Although, this kind of playstale turns wargame into easy grinding boredom... (with exception of some missions where it is not possible)

I loved Wargame: European Escalation when it first came out, but I was disappointed by its abysmal skirmish options. You could play one-on-one versus the AI, but you could not play co-op with friends against the AI. This badly hurt an otherwise superb RTS - wargame hybrid, because while Wargame is easy to pick up and play, it also has just about every piece of hardware NATO and the Warsaw Pact employed during the late stages of the Cold War. The means that unless you've been reading Jane's Defence Weekly since the 1970's, you probably need some hand-holding as you learn to play. Devoid of co-op skirmish, Wargame did not offer much of a helping hand. 2351a5e196
