Jackal is the Corpus boss of the Venus system. Although a more bulky and old model compared to more recent Corpus robotics, the Jackal possesses invulnerable shields, a giant shockwave ability to knock players down, and one of the most powerful Corpus weapons, the Plasma Grenade Cluster. Dissected models of the Jackal can be found in some Grineer tilesets, either showing that the Grineer have an interest in utilizing Corpus tech, or that they have simply purchased merchandise. The Jackal is fought on the mission Fossa, Venus. After defeating it and finishing the mission, the player will receive  Rhino component blueprints, as well as a chance to get a  Stahlta or  Stropha blueprint. 

Tips for beating the Jackal:

1. Understand Attack Patterns: The Jackal has several attack patterns, including laser beams and a powerful stomp. Keep an eye on its movements to anticipate and dodge these attacks.

2. Use the Environment: The Jackal's arena has obstacles you can use for cover. Utilize these to avoid its attacks and give yourself time to heal if needed.

3. Target Its Legs: The key to bringing the Jackal down is to damage its legs. Once you’ve done enough damage, it will become vulnerable, allowing you to deal more damage.

4. Stay Mobile: The Jackal can quickly close the distance. Keep moving to avoid being hit and to make it harder for it to track you.

5. Coordinate with Your Team: If you’re playing with friends, communicate and focus on different legs to bring it down faster. Using Warframe abilities that crowd control or deal damage can also help.
