Why Vote For Steve?

It's a fair question, and it's one that I get asked from time to time on the campaign trail: "Why should I vote for you?"

• My primary goal as your city councilman is to ensure that the city honors its commitment to the citizens. What does that mean?

  • What happens when you call 911?

  • Are our roads safe and passable in all weather conditions?

  • Do we responsibly allocate your tax dollars?

  • Does the city follow the same rules it expects the citizens to follow?

• I will engage in constructive dialogue, even on controversial topics, and I will encourage others to do the same.

We all have opinions on things that are important to us. There are those in our community who seek political authority through division. One of the most contentious issues in Englewood right now is growth. 

In everything I do on city council, I'm looking for common ground among the city's "factions." 

A vote for me is a vote for civility and a rejection of the political philosophy that seeks to divide people in order to control the political reins.
