Kimberley McMann is a southwest Edmonton resident and mother of two, looking to earn your votes in the upcoming municipal election in the role of Public School Board Trustee, ward F. Kimberley is a graduate of Dalhousie University (BMus) and the University of Alberta (MMus) and has over a decade of leadership and teaching experience. She has served as the Director of Music at Edmonton’s historic McDougall United Church since 2015, the Artistic Director and Conductor of the Edmonton Metropolitan Orchestra since 2016, and in addition to her years of private lesson and conservatory teaching, became a faculty member with Toronto’s prestigious St. Michael’s Choir School during the pandemic. In addition to these contracts, Kimberley is regularly involved in community theatre as both a conductor and performer, and loves to spend time at Pride Corner, local coffee shops, and community league tennis courts! Kimberley’s main priorities are: - Ditching the draft curriculum - COVID protocols (test, trace, isolate, plus improved ventilation) - Arts funding - Ending Period Poverty
