hey im using 1.24e so i have to download the 1.25???? it's hella big and i can't download it cause it keeps ending is there an alternative to switching to 1.26 without downloading 1.25 an answer would really be appreciated thnx guys and more power!
ok i show u how to switch version manually.. (without switcher)
first extract the rar file eg: 1.26.rar..
then simply copy n paste the file on war3 folder..
click yes to all..
to revert to any version, just follow the above step..
*this can be done with any version

sir ? how should i run my wvs ? wvs is looking for the file location of warcraft III .. i didn't expect that this thing would happened .. i didn't sleep just to download and just to play dota vers. 1.26a .. so kindly madam/sir .. please help me :))
If you want to play the new version again, just use the Launcher.exe and update (it takes like 5 seconds to update).
If you want to play the old version again, just use the FrozenThrone.exe and it is already set to 1.26 (no need to repatch again).
I also cannot patch my game to use 2 versions at the same time (both launchers that are described).
Both of Warcraft III.exe and Warcraft III Launcher.exe are the latest version for me, and neither offline patchers or version switcher see my game client directory.
i have multiple copies of WC3 installed: one for Reforged, and one for the original game on patch 1.26 or 1.28 (which are the most common for certain older custom maps). I also have a HD graphics mod + widescreen support added to my OG version, along with a patch changer to switch between 1.26 and 1.28
If you still have your original CDs then its pretty simple to reinstall the older version, but if you no longer have your CDs then you can probably scour the internet for a downloadable copy. Try looking for WC3 ICCUP or Eurobattle.Net running on patch 1.26 or 1.28
Next, rename the main folder where the game is installed on your PC with patch 1.26. Once you do that, then installing Reforged should not effect the OG game (hopefully) just make sure you do NOT install reforged on top of the same folder as the OG game
