ALPINE Head Coach-Wade Annand

Wade Annand is the Head Coach of the Alpine Ski Program at Wapiti Valley. Wade’s focus is to help kids learn skiing basics and create strong functional skiers while having fun. Wade is a Level 2 trained Ski Coach and is the 2018 SK Nancy Greene Coach of the Year, 2021 Volunteer of the Year, and 2022 Alpine Coach of the Year. 

ALPINE Coach - Tyler Pochynuk

Tyler is new to the Wapiti Valley Alpine Ski Team but not new to coaching.  Tyler has been coaching with Sask Alpine for many years, and comes to the Wapiti Valley Alpine Ski Team with a wealth of information.  We welcome Tyler to our coaching team. 

NANCY GREENE Head Coach-Adrian Bourgeois

Adrian Bourgeois had been involved with Saskatchewan Alpine Ski community since 1982, as a racer and more recently as an official and a coach.  In 2010, he started coaching the Wapiti Nancy Greene program, progressing to the Alpine Race team coach.  In 2016, he started coaching both Prince Albert and Wapiti alpine race teams. In 2022 after he “retired” from ski coaching, he rejuvenated the Prince Albert Nancy Greene program.  His philosophy is to learn and develop important fundamentals of skiing/racing while having lots of fun while doing it.

Brittany went through the Alpine Race program, winning many competitions along the way.  In 2022 she decided to give back to the sport she loves by coaching the Nancy Greene team.  In 2021 Brittany earned her Education Degree and is now working full time at the Kinisten Learning Centre.
