Corbin & Jerianna Bennetts are both local kids who grew up in Buena Vista, fell in love during college, and are now raising their own kids here in BV. They enjoy everything about this community in our free time! Outdoor recreation is their favorite family activity - including rafting, SUPping, Surfing, Hiking, Dirt Biking, Skating & Climbing.
Jerianna's dad built the laundromat before she was even a teen. She worked here growing up and learned the in-s and out-s of the business when she started working for the family company in 2020.
The Bennetts family bought the laundromat in 2024 and have big plans about ways to serve the community through this avenue. They care deeply about their laundromat customers. Everywhere from the locals who frequent the laundromat, to the passerby's who stop in for a quick clean-up. They hope this can be one small way that they can spread the love of Jesus Christ throughout the community and beyond.
In 2003, Doug Pikul put his resources and dreams to work, building the laundromat to make his vision come to life.
When he was naming the business, a good friend thought it would be funny to name the business after Jerianna's kid-name that her toddler sister gave her in infancy - a name that stuck within the family, and one that her friends used against her in high school. Agreeing with her that this joke would make for a great business name, the laundromat quickly got it's name: "Wally La La's Laundromat".
In 2014, Wally's dreams came to life when her husband partnered with her to make her childhood dreams come to life!
Quickly realizing that "Wally La La" was nothing more than a mouthful for the public, the first thing the couple did was rename the business to Wally's Laundromat (a more simplified name of the business that the community already knows and loves), paint the interior and update the details.
Alexander and Silas are the future of the business. Check out these dudes!
