The History

In 2003, Doug Pikul put his resources and dreams to work, building the laundromat to make his vision come to life.
When he was naming the business, a good friend thought it would be funny to name the business after Jerianna's kid-name (the name that her toddler sister gave her in infancy), Wally La La. It was a name that had stuck within the family, and one that her (closest) friends all thought was funny growing up. Somehow, Doug agreed with her that this joke would in fact make for a great business name. And that is how the laundromat got it's original name: "Wally La La's Laundromat".

In 2024, Wally's dreams came to life when her husband - also a local boy - partnered with her to make her childhood dreams come to life!
Quickly realizing that "Wally La La" was nothing more than a mouthful for the public, the first thing the couple did was rename the business to Wally's Laundromat (a more simplified name of the business that the community already knows and loves), paint the interior and update the details. The happy young couple have big plans about ways they can serve the community in the future... Stay tuned!
