  • "We want to get kids hooked on a habit --- FISHING! So take kids between the ages of 10 and 15 out on Lake Vermilion for a day of fishing. Fishing guides host kids in their boats and travel to their secret fishing hot spots to catch what's feeding. Afterwards, everyone comes together for a fish fry and sharing in the "fish tales" of the day!

  • There is no better way to share knowledge with the fishermen of tomorrow. YOU can share the love and respect we have the great outdoors and fishing.

Walleyes Matter is a NO PROFIT group that is committed to supporting non-profit events, groups, classes and fundraising efforts that promote healthy, sustainable FISHING. We use 3rd party, no fee services like Custom Ink to handle donations. We carry no regular inventory, do not handle proceeds from items sold and do not benefit financially in any way from sales. ALL PROCEEDS after legitimate expenses (materials costs, like t-shirts, hats etc.) go directly to the non-profit events, groups, classes and fundraising efforts we are currently supporting. It is unrealistic at this time for us to spend the $1,000+ it costs in the United States to become a 501(c)3. When we have the funds, we'll become registered.
