About Us

The Walleyes Matter Mission Statement:

The purpose of the Walleyes Matter is to organize, fund raise, and support events related to promoting education about, enhancement of, spreading enthusiasm for and providing for better, sustained fishing.

Walleyes Matter is NEITHER a for-profit nor a non-profit in legal terms, yet. We are a just a NO PROFIT group that is committed to supporting non-profit events, groups, classes and fundraising efforts that promote healthy, sustainable FISHING. ALL PROCEEDS after legitimate expenses (materials costs, like t-shirts, hats etc.) go directly to the non-profit events, groups, classes and fundraising efforts we are currently supporting. It is unrealistic for us to spend the $1,000+ it costs in the United States to become a 501(c)3. We'd rather spend that money to help spread good fishing.

Members of the Walleyes Matter Committee are volunteers and take no salary, stipend or fee from funds raised.
