Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q. Step count is not updating. Please check if your step count is being recorded in the iPhone "Health" app.
Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Health and verify that WalkEvo is allowed to read step data.
Force closing and restarting the app may sometimes update the data.
Q. I want to reset HealthKit permissions. You can change WalkEvo's permissions via iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.
Q. The widget is not updating. Due to iOS specifications, widgets do not always update in real-time.
Opening the app helps refresh the information.
Deleting and re-adding the widget may resolve the issue.
Q. What are Points (P)? Points (P) are in-app currency earned by completing Daily Quests and other activities. You can use collected points to unlock new Character Courses.
Q. Ads are not displaying. Ads may not appear depending on your environment or settings. This does not affect the app's functionality.

WalkEvo (hereinafter referred to as "the App") respects user privacy and strives to protect personal information. This policy explains how information is collected, used, and provided to third parties within the App.

HealthKit (Step Data)
Purpose: To display steps, calculate progress, determine character evolution/leveling, and adjust goals based on past performance.
Content: Step count and other data within the scope permitted by the user.
In-App Game Data (Saved on Device)
Examples: Points (P), character unlock status, consecutive streak, daily quest progress, etc.
Storage: Local device storage (UserDefaults, etc.).
Advertising (If applicable)
The App may use ad delivery services (Google AdMob).
Ad SDKs may handle device identifiers and usage data to display ads (please refer to Google's policies for details).
App Tracking Transparency
The App may request permission to track for ad optimization purposes.
Basic functions remain available even if you decline this permission.
2. Purpose of Use
Collected information is used for the following purposes:
To provide the App's main features (step display, progress tracking, level determination, character evolution, goal setting, widget display).
To improve the App, enhance quality, and investigate bugs.
(If applicable) To display, deliver, and optimize advertisements.
3. Third-Party Disclosure
The App does not provide user personal information to third parties unless required by law. However, if external services (e.g., Google AdMob) are used for ad delivery, those service providers may handle data.

5. Data Storage and Deletion
Game data is primarily saved locally on your device.
HealthKit data is accessed only within the scope permitted by the user and used strictly for the intended purposes.
Uninstalling the App will delete the App's data saved on the device (note that this may vary depending on OS or external service specifications).
HealthKit permissions can be changed at any time via iOS Settings or the "Health" app.
6. Security
The App takes reasonable security measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of collected information.
7. Use by Minors
Minors should use the App with parental consent.
8. Changes to this Policy
This policy may be updated as necessary. Significant changes will be notified via appropriate methods.
