We set off early and arrived at Menai Bridge at around 7,30am. Parking next to the bus station we caught the 42 bus (arrived at 7.43am) to Brynsiencyn where we walked just over a mile to the Anglesey Sea Zoo where we finished in the last part. We then continued with our coast path walk back to the Menai Bridge. Firstly following the Menai Strait then off through some fields. The path follows the Strait for a while then makes a detour passing the nearby the Bryn Celli Ddu Burial Chamber which was just a short detour off the path. We visited the burial chamber and then continued up through some very muddy fields and back down to the A4080, I was a bit worried about this section as I thought it was a walk alongside a main road. It is but on a seperate path along the edge of a field with boardwalks across the muddier bits. then pavement. Just before you leave the main road to head back down to the Menai Strait you cross the Afon Braint which was a nice suprise, we had a little rest stop here and then down to the Menai Straight. Passing some lovely features along the way. We made one more quick detour onto Church Island just before the end of the walk. Great views of both bridges near the end. An enjoyable walk.
