Takaya Seika is a long-established confectionery shop located in Wakayama City, founded in 1965. Its products, such as Wakaura Senbei and Temari Senbei, have long been popular as souvenirs and teatime snacks in Wakayama. One of its most popular products is the Wakaura Senbei, a famous Kishu confectionery branded with the images of Furobashi Bridge and Kankaikaku, scenic spots in Wakaura that are also mentioned in the Manyoshu.
