BIG DAY OUT
with 40m3 of ballast
Mike Z led a crew spreading ballast at Lepperton and on the incline in Waitara, in 28 deg heat, using the YH and YC ballast wagons.
Mike says: "A very successful day ballasting at Lepperton and by the orchard. Thankyou to the crew and Lepperton farmer John Snowdon and his sharemilker Jack, who kindly loaded the wagons.
No doubt you will see them on board for a complementary ride at some stage".
Saturday February 21 - they're back to level up the track on the incline, by the orchard.
Great effort, team!

What could be wrong with that ? It's on rails and not damaging or hurting anyone. Good place to sit and have a picnic
Wot wud be kewl wud be a ride every Sunday on the train. Try it champ you might look at this piece of history differently.
Adds Character
Might be time to consider therapy? That is some advanced-level negativity bias.
For starters its not a railway carriage its a flat car or flat waggon carriages carry passangers .
I seam to think it looks the part of a railway line funny that a .
I’m guessing it’s there just in case the train doesn’t fully stop in time, seeing that the tracks lead to the playground
Really why is it even a problem
Theres a lot worse things around for a bad look than a train carriage parked at train track.
Its a bit of nostalgia.
And one from us . . .
Thanks for all the comments - especially the positive ones
