Pre Nursery -  Grade  5:
By signing this pledge, you promise not to give your child a smartphone until at least the end of Grade 5.

Grade 6 -  Grade 8:

By signing this pledge, you promise not to give your child an unfiltered smartphone (meaning, no access to social media or the internet) until at least the end of Grade 8. 

If you would like your child to have a basic phone that just calls and texts you can still can sign the pledge! The basic phone avoids many of the distractions and dangers of the smartphone and social media.

Once you sign the pledge, you will be added to the relevant WhatsApp groups, this helps you to support one another. There is immense strength in numbers!

We are looking to roll this campaign out to pre-nursery and nursery as well this year; please email chair@netivot.com if you are interested in being a parent liaison for these grades. This year our goal is to increase our number of pledges by having more than 50% of students from each grade signed up for the pledge and committed to the campaign.
