Unleash your inner artist and share your unique voice! The National PTA Reflections Program is a 50+ year-old tradition that empowers students from Pre-K through Grade 12 to explore their thoughts, feelings, and ideas through the arts.
Participating in the arts builds confidence, fosters creative literacy, and gives you a platform to shine in life.
CATEGORIES & GUIDELINES
How to Participate at WHS:
Students can submit original, creative work in one or more of the following categories:
📝 Literature: Write a short story, poem, essay, or narrative plot that reflects what culture means to you.
📸 Photography: Capture a single staged image or real-world snapshot that visually symbolizes your heritage or connection to community.
🖼️ Visual Arts: Design a drawing, painting, 2D/3D masterpiece, or a physical collage using mixed media to share your perspective.

Every entry will be celebrated! On our local Waimea campus, there will be three winners chosen in all categories:

Following Hawaii State PTA rules, our local top-placing works of art will advance to the state and potentially national levels for wider recognition, prizes, and scholarship opportunities.
