Dr. Telma Can Pixabaj

Telma Angelina Can Pixabaj is a full-time researcher at the Center for Multidisciplinary Research on Chiapas and the Southern Border (CIMSUR-UNAM), Mexico. She holds a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin (2015). Her areas of interest include topics such as linguistic documentation, the description of the grammar of Mayan languages with emphasis on morphosyntax and syntax; dialectology, linguistic revitalization, and aspects of anthropological linguistics.

HSSB 6020 (Humanities & Social Sciences Building / Edificio humanidades y ciencias sociales)

The HSSB is a triangular building on the west side of the UCSB campus. If you plan to drive (you must purchase a UCSB visitor parking permit), the closest parking lots are Lots 27 & 22. Lot 29 is only open for visitor parking on weekdays after 5pm and on weekends.

El edificio HSSB tiene forma triangular y se encuentra en el lado oeste del campus UCSB. Si tiene planeado conducir (necesitará comprar un pase de parqueo para visitantes), los parqueos más cercanos son el 27 y 22. El uso del parqueo 29 está restringido de lunes a viernes hasta las 5pm, después de esta hora y durante los fines de semana se puede parquear con pase de visitante.
