It takes a lot of volunteer effort and ongoing funds to keep the Care Group work in the Scientific Reserve going. Any donations you give will go toward the restoration of the Reserve, managing pests, public education and increasing the scientific work which is at the core purpose of this special place.

Kapiti Coast District Council granted us just over $3300 towards our capital cost of new metal Nursery tables

We received a donation of $2000 from the local branch of the Quaker Society.

The Kapiti Half Marathon 2023 raised almost $700 towards our upkeep of the Scientific Reserve, thank you for all those participants who donated, and to Barefoot Sports for organising this.
