Waiakea High Swim and Dive Team

Waiakea High School

is located on the east side of the Big Island in the State of Hawaii. This public school services a students population of about 1300 and is one of two high schools in the Hilo area. The first class graduated in 1980. The school's mascot is the Warrior. The colors are blue and white.

The WHS Swim and Dive Team has 41 swimmers and 8 divers. This team participates in the Big Island Interscholastic Federation (BIIF) and Dive Meets held around Hawaii Island. Many of the swimmers and divers have qualified for state championship competitions, which this year will be off island. In addition, the team annually receives an award for scholastic competence from the National Interscholastic Swimming Association.

Wear PE clothes for yoga on Wednesday.

On Saturdays caps will be on sale for 11$.
