Every Tuesday, the Williamsport Chapter has a meeting led by the the President (Kylie Grassmyer), and Vice President (Emma Poole). With 30 students in our chapter, committees were established during the first month: (Meet every Tuesday as one group)
Shout-out QR Codes are posted throughout the school, giving students an easy way to recognize and appreciate their teachers. Each week, Educators Rising students select one teacher from the submissions, personally deliver the shout-out, and experience their excitement firsthand. The recognition is then shared on the school announcements and displayed on TVs around the building.

Williamsport Area Middle School has an Educators Rising Club. Kristin Berger, the advisor, arranged a field trip for students to attend a high school meeting and eat lunch with our Educators Rising students. February 10, 2026
When asked to be part of the WAHS tour to IU Superintendents and PDE, our students rose to the occasion. This was one of many opportunities students have been given to lead in our district. After receiving a standing ovation in our Maker's Space, students escorted the group to the Collaboration Corner to highlight the space. January 9, 2026
Current students rotate throughout the day to share their experiences and explain our program to visitors. Richai Johnson developed a student-led presentation (sample slides shown below) for freshmen rotating through the Maker’s Space across two separate days.
Freshmen interested in joining the program apply through our CTE General Education pathway. Enrollment continues to grow, with 10 students in Intro to Education in 2024–2025 and 23 students enrolled for 2025–2026.

Implemented a level 2 recognition tradition by providing personalized quarter-zips featuring the student-created logo to promote pride, professionalism, and program unity. Logo designed by WAHS Graphic Arts student, Jayden Smith.
Spearheaded the sale of branded crewnecks to elevate program awareness, reinforce identity, and expand outreach across the district and in the community.
