During the 2018 election cycle the two county parties teamed up to host a series of debates and forums. It was by listening to the local candidates that we realized we have a lot in common. Thus this idea was begun. We supported the Wahkiakum Resource Action Plan team for about year that bore some fruit in helping county agencies with grants, and is still ongoing

This year we started early, and had planned quite a series of in-person forums and debates, but then Covid-19 arrived on the scene It took us awhile to regroup.

Mike Backman and Lee Tischer volunteered to be our ""test subjects" as we tried our first Webinar. They both should be congratulated by the public for their willingness to try something new. We certainly appreciate them.

We shall see how it goes on June 24th, after several postponements.
