Winner, I-Genius, GP-Prothom Alo Internet Utshab

The I-Genius competition was held nationwide jointly organized by country's leading telecom operator Grameenphone and a national daily newspaper- Prothom Alo to disseminate the power of internet among the youth communities of Bangladesh. At my hometown, Pabna, it was held at 30 September, 2012 at Pabna Govt. Girls' High School (PGGHS), where the competitors had to find out information from the internet efficiently.

I became champion at the competition and earned my route to compete in the national round among other champions. This competition indeed changed me a lot, gave me a lot of confidence to shine in the next steps of my life, and a sense of responsibility to improve the condition of the country.

Publication Secretary, NCTF, Pabna

NCTF (National Children’s Task Force) is an organization that strives for children rights and protection. It is supported by Save the Children, Plan International Bangladesh and Bangladesh Shishu Academy (BSA) all over the country.

I worked as publication secretary in the district level of this organization when I was at my secondary school. I also got training on child journalism from country's best journalists. As a part of duty, I had to publish a bi-monthly newspaper- Shishu Angon, covering the rights and situations of children, their educational institutes etc. in my own district. This opportunity molded me as a responsible person to undertake larger tasks in future.

Donor, Badhon- Blood Donation

My undergraduate institute, BUET was very near to some of the country's biggest hospitals like- DMCH, BSMMU, BIRDEM, Square Hospital etc. As a result, we got a lot of urgent blood calls to donate bloods. I participated (and still participates) on those calls whenever I could. I have donated blood 10-11 times during the course of the study. It enabled a sense of empathy, altruism, and responsibility towards humankind inside me.

Coordinator (logistics), Bangladesh Biology Olympiad

The Dhaka-South regional competition of the Bangladesh Biology Olympiad-2018 jointly organized by National Museum of Science & Technology and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology held at BUET on 27 January, 2018. I worked as an enzyme (volunteer) to organize the Olympiad where around 600 participants participated. I oversaw the logistics part of the competition.

Organizer, BUET BME Picnic

On December 13th, 2018- we, the then students of the Biomedical Engineering Department of BUET, went for an excursion at Mohammadi Garden, Dhamrai. I worked as an organizer of the picnic working on several aspects- like overseeing logistics, maintaining time schedule of different tasks, arranging buses, managing the sites etc. These responsibilities built a leadership skill in me that helped me a lot later in the course of my life.
