Slides summarizing how to deal with causal identification using shift-share (Bartik) instruments, widely used in Economics of migration. I make a summary of the main ideas and suggestions proposed by the recent developments on this method proposed by Adão et al. (2019), Goldsmith-Pinkham et al. (2020), and Borusyak et al. (2022).
