All the way back in 1955, the US and Russia were already in the heat of the Cold War (heh, irony), and the US was very active making plans to make an offensive attack on Russia. They rack their brains on this for months, even hiring the best scientists they could find, and they could not come up with anything, seeing as Russia is such a big country. Then, suddenly, in July, the US government discovers aliens in Nevada. This provided the answer they were looking for: they were going to use an alien force to take down Russia. However, they had just one problem: they did not nearly have enough aliens to even think about launching an attack. So, being the US government, they come up with a bizarre idea: to open up a restaurant front for recruiting aliens. They name this restaurant "Waffle House" because it seemed like a neutral enough thing. So anyway, by the end of September, Waffle House was well established in the US, and Area 51 was also built. Yes, Area 51 does exist because of aliens.
In the first decade or so, the Waffle House operation generates good output. However, once the late 60s roll around, it quickly loses steam and the operation is abandoned. The war stays a Cold War. From then on, the Waffle House lies silent. That is, until the early 2000s, when suddenly a huge influx of aliens swarms into Waffle Houses all around the US, and in Area 51. With enough time, the operation was able to get enough aliens to where an attack on Russia seemed feasible. However, this idea was no longer relevant seeing that the Cold War had ended roughly two decades earlier. The aliens still liked the idea of domination, though, so they took over the operation. Despite this, the US still stayed tight-lipped about all this, as they had been for the past half-century. Anyway, the aliens start plotted their domination of the world, and once they have all the preparation, all they need is the perfect time to strike. Enter Jonny RaZeR Shorts. On January 13th, 2023, Jonny uploaded a yt short explaining an idea he had to gaslight the internet. Basically, he wanted his viewers to choose a phrase that everyone would start commenting on every single video they watched, starting on the 31st of January. He thought this would be a harmless thing. However, the aliens see opportunity in this and just spam the comments of the short with "The Waffle House Has Found Its New Host," thus starting a sort of internet plague that at this point was out of Jonny's control. From there, Jonny decides to play into this "bit" and continues to upload about it.
And that is where the Waffle House thing came from.
