Rochon employees: Nicole, Nadeem and Jashan; WAES volunteers; Diana, Fiona, Lynn, Rob, Pat. In November 2024 we received a call from Nicole at the Rochon Corporation. The company owner, Martin, was wondering if they could do a fundraiser for WAES. Of course we were thrilled by this generous offer. In December Nicole set up a fundraising page on CanadaHelps, and as of the end of the month they had reached their very aggressive goal. This was the single largest donation WAES has received. It will enable us to continue to serve our community. THANK YOU so much to the Rochon Company, and to Martin and Nicole for making it happen.

The Kindred Foundation has been supporting WAES for the past several years. This year we received a very generous donation. This money will be used to purchase the food, personal care and household items our community needs. Weston Superstore invited WAES to attend a cheque presentation event at the store. CP24 was there, as well as several Loblaw head office staff and the store manager Jacinta. We thought we were receiving $5,000, but at the last minute they increased it to $10,000. What a great holiday surprise. THANK YOU!
