Get Involved
WAES is fortunate to have amazing volunteers. We have over 50 active volunteers, but always need people to help. There are a variety of positions available. Most require at least a 3 hour commitment that includes extended standing and lifting.
Our hours of operation for stocking shelves and packing are Monday from 8:30 to 11am, 1 to 4 pm; Thursday 9 to 11am and 1 to 4pm; Wednesday 9am to 1pm. Food distribution takes place Tuesday and Friday between 8 and 11am. Call 416-247-3737 or email foodbankmanager@waes.ca if you are interested in volunteering.

Our MISSION and History
WAES will provide food assistance to those that require help in the Weston Mount Dennis community and will offer support without judgment. We welcome community members from all backgrounds and walks of life. We offer respect to all who come through our doors, both community members and volunteers.
WAES has been operating in this community since 1986. It has been entirely volunteer run, with a dedicated group of people that come each week to unload, stock, purchase and distribute food. WAES is supported by North York Harvest, Second Harvest and community faith organizations, schools, businesses, our elected officials and many generous individuals.
