Our MISSION and History

WAES will provide food support to those that require help in the Weston Mount Dennis community and will offer support without judgment. We welcome community members from all backgrounds and walks of life. We offer respect all who come through our doors, both community members and volunteers.

WAES has been operating in this community since 1986. It has been entirely volunteer run, with a dedicated group of people that come each week to unload, stock, purchase and distribute food. WAES is supported by North York Harvest, Second Harvest, Weston Lions, York Lions, Humber Rotary, Muslim Women of York Region and community faith organizations, schools, businesses, our elected officials and many generous individuals.
