sTORMWATER OUTREACH FOR REGIONAL MUNICIPALITIES
ABOUT STORM
Stormwater Outreach for Regional Municipalities, known as “STORM,” is a coalition of over 90 Western Washington National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Stormwater Permittees that have worked together since 2008 to:
fulfill education and outreach permit requirements,
meet best management practices for stormwater runoff, and
deliver effective, consistent pollution prevention messaging to residents and businesses throughout the region.
STORM tackles issues that cross jurisdictional boundaries and creates meaningful opportunities for professionals to share and learn from each other.
OUR VISION: People living and working in our communities will take actions that protect water quality within the Puget Sound basin.
OUR MISSION: To work together with regional partners to address polluted runoff by advancing broad-scale behavior change.
