📚 Library Guidelines

🕰️ Operating Hours

• Weekdays (Monday to Friday): 8:30 a.m. – 5:25 p.m.

• Sundays: 10:00 a.m.– 1:00 p.m.
  
  

🔄 Circulation Timings

• For Faculty: Available during all working hours

• For Students:
  
  

  • 11:30 a.m.– 11:45 a.m.

  • 12:40p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

  • 3:35 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
    
    

📖 Lending Policies

• Eligibility:

  • Undergraduate Students: 4 books + 2 back issues/donor collection

  • Postgraduate Students: 6 books + 2 back issues/donor collection

• Lending Period: 15 days

• Fines:
  
  

  • ₹1 per day for overdue items

  • For lost or damaged books: Three times the cost of the book
    
    

🧾 Library Usage

• Access: Use your e-ID card for library transactions

• Circulation: Barcode system implemented for efficiency

• Responsibility: Borrowers are accountable for the materials they check out
  
  

📚 Resource Access

• Catalog: Utilize the Web OPACs for bibliographic details

• System: Open Access system in place

• Reference Materials: Reference books and rare collections are for in-library use only

• Department Libraries: Accessible with permission from respective Heads of Departments (HoDs)
  
  

🧭 Conduct and Etiquette

• Silence: Maintain perfect silence within the library premises

• Personal Belongings: Store personal items in designated cubicles

• Materials: Handle all documents with care; avoid misplacement

• Sub-Lending: Do not lend library materials to others

• Surveillance: Library is under CCTV monitoring

• Grievances: Use the suggestion box for feedback and issues
  
  

💻 Digital Conduct

• Internet Usage: Access is strictly for academic purposes

• Prohibited Activities: Typing, emailing, chatting, and visiting unauthorized websites are not allowed

• Best User Awards: Granted based on frequency of library visits
