Mr. Rachmad Yuwono, my adviser/cooperating one of his teaching method is movement exploration. Since the topic is basketball and he is going to teach the basic skills and introduce basketball drills the teaching method must require movement exploration. Having this method will help the learners to experience what does it feel to become a player or in the training. and through this method they are gaining more knowledge.
In PJOK or PE they have their own module, in that module it contains hands-on, activity-based learning, focusing on teamwork, motor skills, and physical fitness. Teachers also integrate health education, emphasizing the importance of a balanced lifestyle and wellness. Innovative programs, such as adaptive PE for students with special needs, ensure inclusivity and equal opportunities for all learners to stay active and healthy.
Since i already mentioned earlier that teachers in SMP Lab has its own module to follow, they use this as their learning resources. in their curriculum they are using the Cambridge and the Independent Curriculum to guide the teachers in making module. inside that module it has objectives, hands on activities and assessment. In my observation i have'nt seen my adviser using technologies to integrate in their activities because that time he is teaching the basic skills in Basketball.
Teachers in PJOK uses Authentic assessment to measure the knowledge and skills of the learners. During my observation at SMP Lab at Arena Arsimbo my cooperating teacher Mr. Yuwono , he is already measuring the skills of the learners through performance-based assessment. the learners are going to perform the different skills in basketball such as passing, dribbling and shooting.
During my observation at SMP Laboratorium it was a fun and enjoyable moment to become part of SMP Lab, it is such an opportunity to become one of the SEA Teacher participants. These experiences surely i can apply it in the future.
