Vulcan: AI Hub — Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Vulcan: AI Hub ("the App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The Service. The App is an on-device AI operating environment that processes most data locally on your device. It provides diagnostics, device control, and AI conversation features. Optional cloud AI providers may be configured by you; you are responsible for any data you send to such providers. When cloud AI performs web or image search, queries are sent to a third-party search engine (DuckDuckGo).
2. AI Output. The App's AI responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a given purpose. AI output is provided "as is" and does not constitute professional, medical, legal, or financial advice. Always verify important information.
You own all content you create using the App's AI features, whether generated by local on-device models or cloud-based providers. You may freely use, copy, distribute, modify, and create derivative works from AI-generated outputs without restriction. VulcanAI does not claim ownership over AI-generated content. You are responsible for verifying accuracy and compliance with applicable laws before use or distribution.
3. AI-Generated Images. If you use a cloud provider that supports image generation, output images are subject to that provider's terms of service and usage policies. The developer makes no claims over generated content.
4.AI-Generated Content & Reporting. The App generates content using AI, which may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You may rate or flag AI-generated responses from within the App. You may not use the App to generate unlawful, harassing, hateful, or otherwise prohibited content, and you agree to comply with the Google Play AI-generated content policy.
5. Purchase & Trial. The App includes a free trial period. After the trial, continued use of assistant and Matrix Learning features requires a one-time, lifetime in-app purchase ("Vulcan Lifetime Access"). Purchases are processed by the Google Play store; refunds are governed by Google's policies.
6. Permitted Use. The App is an AI operating environment. It is not intended for employment decisions, education assessment, credit scoring, or healthcare decisions. You may not use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or high-risk purpose, including those listed here. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws, including the EU Artificial Intelligence Act where it applies to you.
7. Privacy. Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy, available Privacy Policy.
8. License. The App is licensed for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App except as permitted by law.
9. Termination. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. The App has no user account or server — your access is tied to your device and your Google Play purchase. We may discontinue the App or stop providing updates at any time. We are not obligated to provide support to anyone who misuses the App.
10. Limitation of Liability. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the App or reliance on its AI output.
11. Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Indemnification. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Vulcan: AI Hub, its developer, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
13. Age Restrictions. The App is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in the European Union). By using the App, you represent that you are at least the minimum required age in your jurisdiction.
14. Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the developer is based, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
15. Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Data Deletion policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Vulcan: AI Hub regarding the App, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
17. User Content. You represent that you have the right to input any material into the App, and that such material does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party. You are solely responsible for the content you input.
