Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the Vulcan: AI Hub application (hereinafter referred to as "Application").
Data Storage
All data generated by the Application is stored locally on your device. This includes chat messages, conversation history, entity profiles, device diagnostics, learned skills, preferences, any model files downloaded by the user, and AI-generated images saved from cloud image generation requests. No data is collected, stored, or transmitted by the developer.
In-App Purchases
The Application offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock lifetime access. All purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. The developer does not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or purchase history.
Cloud AI Services
The Application provides optional cloud AI functionality. When you choose to configure a cloud profile (Google Gemini, OpenAI-compatible providers such as Groq, Together, or Ollama), your prompt text and any attachments are sent directly to that provider's API from your device. This communication is between you and the cloud provider only — the developer does not intercept, store, or have access to any of this data. Each provider operates under their own privacy policy.
Cloud AI keeps a separate cloud-memory drawer on your device containing only what you voluntarily tell it (your name and facts you share), which it recalls in later sessions; the drawer never reads your local on-device archive, and it is cleared by the in-app factory reset or on uninstall. When cloud AI answers with web or image search, your query is sent to a third-party search engine (DuckDuckGo), and results or images may be loaded from third-party websites into the app.
API Uplinks
The Application allows you to configure custom HTTP endpoints (API Uplinks) that send request data to third-party servers. You control the URL, authentication method, and API key. Data sent depends entirely on your configuration. The developer has no access to or visibility into these communications.
Permissions
The Application requests the following device permissions to support features you trigger directly. Permission-gated features will not execute unless you grant the relevant permission. No permission is used to collect data in the background.
- Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO) — noise telemetry and dictation
- Camera (CAMERA) — photo capture for attachments
- Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION) — GPS telemetry and location-based triggers
- Contacts (READ_CONTACTS) — resolving contact names to phone numbers for call and SMS commands
- Calendar (READ_CALENDAR, WRITE_CALENDAR) — querying and creating calendar events
- Phone State (READ_PHONE_STATE) — SIM and cellular network information for device diagnostics
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS, ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY) — scheduled prompts and notification delivery
- Bluetooth (BLUETOOTH, BLUETOOTH_CONNECT) — nearby device scanning for diagnostics
- WiFi (NEARBY_WIFI_DEVICES, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE) — WiFi network scanning for diagnostics
- Alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM, SET_ALARM) — scheduled prompt delivery and alarm commands
- System (WAKE_LOCK, MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS, INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) — audio output, model downloads, and network connectivity
Third-Party Services
The Application uses Google LiteRT-LM and ONNX Runtime for on-device AI inference, and HuggingFace for downloading AI models and the local embedding engine. These interactions are limited to downloading files and running local processing. Cloud web/image search is the only feature that transmits your query, and it is routed to the third-party search engine DuckDuckGo.
Analytics and Tracking
The Application does not include any analytics, tracking, telemetry, or advertising services. No usage data is collected or transmitted.
Data Deletion
You can delete individual records (conversations, observations, sessions) from within the Application. Uninstalling the Application removes all local data permanently. Cloud profiles and API Uplinks can be removed from the Core tab at any time.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
