TIPS for submitting a successful application
REMEMBER: you are applying for a place on the VUELA 2026 programme and NOT for specific projects/experiences; volunteering is about meeting the needs of others. We guarantee you will have an incredible experience.
When should I apply for a place? During the period specified by each university or school. Don't leave it until the last minute. (See section: Funding options and conditions above).
Where do I apply for a place? Through the links for your university or school at the bottom of this page. Each university has its own link.
What do I need to apply for a place? As a general rule, you will need to fill in a form, write a letter of motivation (each centre will specify its content) and provide a CV with an up-to-date photo. Take your time to prepare a good letter of motivation. It is not just a formality. It is designed to help you in the application process and to help the universities in the selection process.
Check the projects for which you could be selected. We have designed an interactive mind map with basic information to make it easier for you to consult.
5. Download the Frequently Asked Questions. Many of the questions you have are sure to be there. If you still have questions after reading them, you can contact the people in charge at each university. You will find their contact details at the bottom of the page.
ARE YOU READY? Apply for your place... Fly!
Then browse through the types of proposals you are interested in and the individual project sheets. Keep in mind that you are applying for the program NOT for projects. However, in your application form you can indicate your preferences, which we will of course take into account.
