History
Ethan Allen Troop 650 is the only Boy Scout Troop in Burlington. The troop was founded in 1959 and we have been an active troop for over 60 years. We have had only 2 Scoutmasters.
The troop is very active in the outdoors, with on average one campout each month, year-round. We like hiking, camping and play outdoors as much as possible.
In addition, we go on one high adventure trip every 3 years. Our last one was this past summer at the Northern Tier High Adventure Base in Atikokan, in Northern Ontario. We canoed over 80 miles during a 10-day trek in the Arctic watershed of Canada.
In addition, we are proud to be active in the community through community service projects to help various other non-profit organizations.

Scoutmaster - Started in the troop at 11 years old as a little boy and never left! He's been the scoutmaster of Troop 650 for over 30 years. He's won numerous Boy Scouts Awards. He's always been very dedicated to Boy Scouts.
