Land Development Design Industry

The Land Development Design Industry (LDDI) at Virginia Tech connects students, faculty, and industry professionals to shape the future of land development. LDDI is the industry engagement arm of the Bowman Sustainable Land Development Program in the Via Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

Through hands-on learning, real-world projects, and strong industry partnerships, LDDI prepares the next generation of engineers to design sustainable and thriving communities.

LDDI provides students with the opportunity to explore land development through authentic projects and a curriculum that frequently engages industry partners.  LDDI also provides industry with an opportunity to actively engage with the education of the next generation of civil engineers.
