Who We Are

Open to all Virginia Tech majors, the Fashion Merchandising and Design Society (FMDS) is a student led organization that gives the opportunity for all to get involved and connected. FMDS provides exceptional networking opportunities such as internship workshops, keynote speakers, a huge network of alumni, and annual trips to different fashion events up and down the East Coast.

Each year FMDS proudly produces a fashion show for the Virginia Tech community, which gives members hands on experience in show production, garment construction, runway modeling, and more.

FMDS also supports various philanthropies including Save the Next Girl, which gives members the opportunity to give back to our surrounding communities.
