Cirque: Beauty in the Madness

The FMDS fashion show of 2019 was led by Fashion Show Coordinators Blythe Boyd and Kitty Wu. Inspired by the chaotic and edgy side of the circus in contrast with the whimsical and romantic side of the it, they wanted a broad theme to allow our designers a lot of flexibility and creativity in their designs. With 38 student designers, 42 models, 10 stagers, and 12 committee members and various other resources, this show was a great success selling out at 500 ticket on show day. And thanks to the support of the Blacksburg community we had 4 local boutiques featured at the beginning of the show.
