The SETC Studio Festival is a new Festival for SETC 2026 that “is rooted in the belief that powerful theatre does not require elaborate sets or technical spectacle—it thrives in the strength of the story, the actor’s presence, and the clarity of direction. This minimalist approach is intentionally designed to: center the craft, promote equity, and simplify logistics.”

We value the input of our Secondary teachers and directors and will definitely be seeking your input and leadership to help us understand how the VTA HSTF will move forward with the new SETC Studio model. We will use this year to seek feedback, discuss how we can leverage the Studio program, and see how Studio shakes out at SETC.
