1) You MUST be a NEW School to VTA to participate in VTA For A Day. A "New School" is defined as a school that has not attended since at least 2022 (the past 3 conferences) and not participating in the HSTF or the MSTF.

2) If you have students attending for only one day they can absolutely still participate in any of our competitions! If you have students who can't attend at all, they can still participate in the Playwriting Competition (completely online) and the Design Competition (would just need to coordinate the drop off and pick up of the entry).  Use this link: Request for Invoice 

2) You will notice that on the VTA For A Day Registration there are no add-ons for the individual competitions- Monologues, Playwriting, Design and the new Musical Theatre Song competition. Each competition costs $20 per. Reach out to Conference Manager to receive an invoice to add these competitions.

3) Will Seniors be able to submit audition reels and attend callback auditions/sessions with colleges/universities? Yes - students can submit their virtual auditions and will receive their call backs prior to Thursday morning. So they will be able to plan to meet with college representatives starting at noon on Thursday. The colleges schedule their own studio sessions, which may not be on the day you are attending VTA for a Day for some of the schools your students are hoping to have these experiences with. However, in the early afternoon on Thursday, traditionally the exhibition area has less traffic, so your students would still be able to have meaningful conversations as well as the opportunity to ask if they could do their monologue for them in person at the table. The same is true for other times during the festival.

4) We don't fit the rule for VTA for a Day, but we can only attend for one day. Do we register as a group? In regards to the Festival Registration, NO you do not need to register for the festival if you're not having students participate in the One Act Festivals. If you'd like to register as a group, you can purchase day passes through our PAY NOW Form or REQUEST INVOICE Form. Early Bird Registration for Group Registration ends September 15th.
