Applications have the server and user interface wrapped into one application. Applications are easy to install and update by running the latest version of the installer.
Server only versions run as a web server and will need to be accessed on that device through a web browser on localhost:8000 or through the device's IP address on another LAN device if connecting remotely.

This executable will allow for testing of VT Anywhere with a sample test client. This client should run on Windows without additional installation, and it will feature more capabilities than the integrated demo.
Note that VT Anywhere will need to be run in the "Virtual Bus" / "UDP" mode, not "PCAN". See the Configuration page for more information.
Please Contact Us if you encounter any issues -- your email will be reviewed by our development team, which will get back to you as soon as possible.
Previous versions of VT Anywhere are available on the Past Releases page.
Instructions for setting up VT Anywhere can be found on the Setup Instructions page.
VT Anywhere release numbers use the traditional sequence-based software versioning method, which utilizes major, minor, and revision numbers to designate the level of changes in a new release. For example, "v1.2.3" refers to revision 3 of minor version 2 of major version 1.
Major releases include large feature and interface changes, while minor releases focus on modest feature updates and overall improvements. Revision releases often include minor bug-fixes. Users are recommended to update when new major and minor versions are released.
Development focuses on the latest branch, which means that bugs reported using older versions of VT Anywhere will be fixed in the next release.
BETA versions are early builds that are released in order to obtain user feedback that will be incorporated into the stable version. These builds focus primarily on functionality, and BETA versions will be polished into stable releases. All versions of VT Anywhere are implied to be stable unless the label "BETA" is used, as in "v1.3.0 BETA".
