In a PRE paper, we have derived the analytical expression of the integrated Lennard-Jones potential between two thin rods in an arbitrary 3-dimensional configuration, using Ostrogradsky's integration method. The potential has been used to investigate the adhesion between two rods. It also has wide applications in studying systems involving rods.

In a EPJE paper, we have derived the analytical expression of the integrated Lennard-Jones potential between a thin rod and a sphere, using Ostrogradsky's integration method. The potential is used to show that the adhesion between a thin rod and a sphere scales with the square root of a, the radius of the sphere.
