Shengfeng and Dr. Michael Chandross from Sandia National Laboratories published a paper in a topical collection of Tribology Letters in memory of Prof. Mark O. Robbins. In this paper, the atomistic mechanism of friction reduction in metal alloys was discussed and studied with molecular dynamics simulations.
