No matter what grade you're in, high school graduation feels like it's just around the corner. You've probably started thinking about what you're going to do after high school, but do you know about all the possible options available to you? Has college ever crossed your mind? If so, do you want to get an idea of what it feels like to be a college student, and do you want to learn all this without having to pay for it? If any of these apply to you, come to the Vietnamese Student Union's 38th Annual High School Conference!

HSC is a FREE event. Though our target is to serve the Vietnamese community, we welcome anyone and everyone of all communities. This year, our aim is to gather around 200 high school students and parents all across California to empower youth like you to strive for higher education and learn about the various paths to achieving it -- all while having fun!

Navigating through higher education can be extremely challenging, and we may often feel stuck or lost. These two days will be filled with workshops and activities to help you prepare for your unique journey through education. Workshop topics will explore advice on finishing high school, how to apply for financial aid, which forms of higher education could be the fit for you, the diversity of majors and careers that exist, and how education can be a powerful tool not only for your future career but for exploration of yourself in the present. These are only a few of our array of workshops at HSC (let us know what you want to learn!). In addition, we will offer personal statement reviews from our staff of current UCLA students for senior high school students. Many current college students will be present to answer any questions you might have about university workload, housing, careers, or literally anything else! We're here for YOU.
